During the trial month we get to know the player and see which group fits best.
If it feels right, the player continues in the right school, initiation or team group.
To start in the skating school or initiation group, inline skates and regular skating protective gear are enough: helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards. After that first stage, when the player moves into inline hockey with stick and puck, specific inline hockey protective gear is needed.
For safe initiation training we recommend a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads and wrist guards. When players move into inline hockey with stick and puck, specific protective gear is added, such as shin guards, hockey pants/girdle, hockey gloves and a helmet with cage depending on age and competition.
Training combines skating, balance, braking, turns, coordination, stick handling, passing, shooting and level-appropriate games. Beginners learn from scratch at their own pace; advanced groups work on game situations, decision-making and team habits.
The trial month lets the player meet the group, experience the training routine and see whether they feel comfortable before joining. Contact us before coming and we will suggest the best schedule and group.
Inline hockey is a team sport played on inline skates with a stick and puck. It combines speed, technique, coordination and decision-making. It is a complete way to improve skating while learning to play as part of a team.
Inline hockey uses inline skates and a puck; traditional rink hockey uses quad skates and a ball. Some rules, rink dynamics and skating movements are also different. Both sports involve technique, coordination and teamwork, but the equipment and feel of the game are different.
