Training
Academy, skating and inline hockey in Barcelona
Uroloki is a skating and inline hockey club in Barcelona. We train children and young players who want to learn to skate, start inline hockey or keep growing in federated teams.
We work with a clear progression: skating basics first, then technique and play, and later continuity inside the club. That makes it easier for families to understand the best entry point.
Academy: learn to skate
Younger players take their first strides with safety, balance and confidence through progressive drills, games and age-appropriate sessions.
From skating to inline hockey
Once the base is there, players start working with the stick, puck control and first game concepts while keeping the pace suitable for each child.
Federated teams
For players who want to keep growing, we train for competition while reinforcing teamwork, discipline, respect and sportsmanship.
Beginner stage
The clearest way to start well
This beginner stage is the best entry point for younger children and for families who want a calm beginning. The focus is on learning to skate well, gaining confidence and discovering inline hockey step by step inside a real club environment.
Younger ages and true beginners
This stage fits especially well for younger children or complete beginners who need a very gradual introduction.
Foundation before pressure
We prioritise balance, posture, braking, confidence and autonomy on skates before competition matters.
Real continuity inside the club
Once a player gains confidence, the move into initiation and teams happens within the same club environment.
A real beginner story
Dídac started this year and has already played his first tournament
A simple Uroloki story: starting in the beginner school, building confidence on skates and experiencing a first tournament with the team. The point is not to rush, but to support each step well.
From first skates to feeling part of the club.
Method
From the first session to team play
Inline hockey initiation starts with feeling comfortable on skates. We work on coordination, posture, braking, balance and direction changes before introducing game situations. This helps children gain confidence and enjoy the sport from day one.
- Basic skating for children starting from scratch.
- Stick and puck drills adapted to each group level.
- Training in Barcelona at Pavelló Clot de la Mel.
- A clear path towards inline hockey teams and federated competition.

From skating to inline hockey
Many children start simply wanting to learn to skate. At Uroloki we take care of that first stage, but we offer something more: a natural path into inline hockey, team play, club training and, if the player wants it, federated competition.
